Serious collision - Skegness

Emergency services were called to reports of a collision on Drummond Road, Skegness between Drake Road and Frederica Road,  just before 4.30pm on Saturday 31 January 26.

A 41-year-old man who was riding a black Suzuki motorcycle had lost control and left the road. He very sadly died at the scene. His family have been informed. 

The road was closed at the time and has now reopened.  Officers may remain at the scene completing their investigations for a short while longer.

The Lead Investigator, DS Kate Johnston, is appealing for witnesses to the collision or anyone who saw the motorcycle being ridden before the rider lost control.  DS Johnston would also like to speak to anyone who may have CCTV, dash cam or other recorded footage that may have captured the motorcycle prior to or the collision itself.
